Abstract

The following is a review of Glossario di Informatica Umanistica, a small Digital Humanities (DH) dictionary, conceived by Antonello Fabio Caterino and edited by him and other scholars. The work, which opens with two introductory essays, is a collection of forty-five entries dedicated to Italian DH terms and their definitions. The purpose of GLODIUM, which is primarily aimed at students and scholars with little or no DH knowledge, is to provide some basic information about each entry, such as meaning, origin, history, technology and applications.
