Abstract

The Fifth Conference of the Associazione Italiana di Informatica Umanistica e Cultura Digitale took place in Venice, September 2016. The main topic of the Conference, "Digital editions: representations, interoperability, text analysis and infrastructures", is aligned to the ones addressed by both prior conferences (2012-2015) and following ones (2017-18). All the contributions highlighted the connection between specific disciplines belonging to humanities, and computer science. Moreover, several ones involved multiple fields from both humanities (e.g. history of literature and art history) and computer science (e.g. engineering, information science).
